MC-9553 was mainly fixed, but its duplicates MC-93070, MC-110000 and MC-159390 still apply. As asked for in 9553, I'm creating a new report for it: Item frames, item entities, specially rendered or transparent blocks don't render behind slime mobs (not slime blocks). I have not tested all entities.
To reproduce:
/execute align xyz run tp @s ~ ~ ~ /summon slime ~4.5 ~ ~ {NoAI:1,Size:10} /setblock ~2 ~ ~3 chest
