Whenever you die in a hardcore world, whether you choose to spectate or delete it, something weird happens... When you spectate it, the chunks never load in and the mobs visible from spectating just shake back and forth, However if you delete it, you get put back to the menu screen that says Minecraft and singleplayer and all that good jazz, but the background for 1.14 is replaced with just white. When you go back to singleplayer, the dirt background is replaced with a screenshot of you dying.
