The bug
In some development snapshots of 1.14, illusioners hold their bows differently compared to 1.12, even if they're unused. It's more identical to how skeletons hold their bows, which makes the illusioner looks like they're holding their bows with one hand.
I consider the way they hold their bows to be intentional since this is how they use to hold their bows in 17w16a, up to 1.13.2. This is NOT a duplicate of MC-48071
In the two screenshots below here, it shows the illusioner attacking a villager while trapped in a barrier block cage.
How to Reproduce
/summon illusioner
- Spawn a villager
- Wait for the illusioner to attack the villager
- Now observe the position of it's bow
→ The illusioner holds it's bow differently and is similar to a skeleton.
