Subtitles not showing without a sound device

      So in both versions of the pre-release, I didn't have any subtitles despite them being on. I usually plug my earbuds into my tablet while playing and rely on the subtitles for sound in Minecraft. I have a tower(desktop) computer, so it has no built-in speakers.
      I tested a lot of things but found that plugging in my earbuds and rebooting Minecraft let the subtitles show up again.. This wasn't a problem in previous versions.
      It'd be great to have a fix for this, subtitles are really helpful!
