What I expected to happen was...:
the cat would realize it was drowning and get out of  the water

What actually happened was...:
ct proceeded to drown to death

Steps to Reproduce:
1. find/spawn cat in the water
2. hold cod in hand and wait until the cat goes into taming mode
3. after a while the cat will drown and die instead of look find land and live
