      The bug

When a spider goes from being hostile to passive, they will retain their "chasing" destination, and continue to walk towards it while idle. This is not MC-93772 or something similar because the spiders remain at their position when the player they originally chased moves away.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Use /setblock to make a block floating about five to ten blocks above the air, stand on it, and then attract the attention of spiders
      2. Set time to day or go to creative mode to cause the spiders to become passive; they will still be slowly walking and jumping in attempt to reach the block you were standing on until they choose another destination at random.
