When "Advanced OpenGL" is turned on, some regions don't render with certain views. This is most apparent in the jungle. I'll be looking at some tree and a tiny shift in the view will cause a portion of the tree to disappear.

I've taken a pair of screenshots showing this. All that changed between the two screenshots is that I moved the mouse a bit to change the view angle. This caused the tree top to disappear.

When Adavnced OpenGL is off the tree top is always there.

The FOV and other graphics settings such as fancy/fast and render distance appear to have no effect.
