When I was looking for elytra bugs I wondered what happens if you tried to land in a chunk that wasn't loaded before you started gliding. What obviously should of happened was the player goes out of the horizontal position and stands up straight with the wings retracted. What happens was the player was now on the ground still horizontal with the wings out. The player would still be moving forward as well without stopping, the sound of walking on the block below the player was also occurring which I noticed when I landed on sand and as I was sliding on the floor I heard the sound of me walking on the sand. The movement was about as slow as sneaking. The player also had the ability to jump while on the ground which allows you to get up a hill and jump/glide off of it back to the air. Please note that this is still all while the player is horizontal on the ground constantly sliding forward. After I tried going off a cliff and landing again I was still stuck not being able to land. I imagine you could stand back up by being forced into another position like a bed, or minecart, and then leaving it. The worst part is that it didn't appear to take down any durability, this may be the the sprite of the item not being updated properly, or this bug simply not effecting durability. Knowing the minecraft community, this can be heavily abused.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get high up with the elytra equipped.
2. Fly into an unloaded area/chunk. (in third person, your player should be invisible)
3. When you land your player should stay in flying position while sliding forward with access to standing movements like jumping.
