    • Java

I attempt to join the realm and it doesn't let me join as it says it says 'Internal Exception' and says something about a decoder exception and the reader index and length exceeding the writer index.

I have already restarted my pc and internet, uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft

The issue started when I died on the realm (might be unrelated) and then my game crashed, I died in a portal so that may have crashed my game. When I tried to reconnect the error message came up

I can still join public servers however, I cannot join the realm

My friends can still access the realm and they often tell me that they can see me on the realm (from the realms menu) however I can't access the realm so this doesn't make any sense to my feeble mind  :I

I recently changed my username so I am wondering if the realm has not realised this change yet and changed my username in the whitelist

I'm not sure what to do so some help would be appreciated

------ Problem fixed itself after a day, I'm not sure what it was but I am now able to access the realm ------
