Bedrock
Recently a permanent ticking area was added to bedrock realms around the end island. However, this ticking area only turns on when loaded by a player and deloads after the realm is unloaded and reloaded.
This makes it incredibly inconvenient to do the things with a ticking area that a ticking area is meant to do. (Farms, Mob switch, etc.)
Steps to reproduce
- Load up a realm.
- Go to the end.
- Spawn 200 mobs of any kind on the end island (Make sure they can't despawn)
- Go back to the overworld.
- Log out and wait for the server to unload the realm or do it manually by closing and opening the realm
- Rejoin realm
Expected result
Mobs should not spawn due to the global mob cap being filled in the ticking area in the end.
Observed
Mobs spawn as they normally would until a player enters the end, loading the ticking area.
