I've been looking everywhere on google for this issue and I can only see people on bedrock having this problem, which is odd because looking up privacy rules on Minecraft specifically says that censorship applies in Bedrock realms. This happened yesterday when I came on the server and noticed every sign was blank (even the ones that had normal text on them). Logging on today, I notice a new sign in my room that says "Present", which means that I am able to see text again, just not text that is written as a swear anymore. I invited my friends and we started to mess around with chat, noticing that we can't say a lot of things; of course swears. Many of the swears or even normal words like West either gets blurred out with tags (####) or just disappears in chat. This problem has not happened ever before and we were able to say anything we want and type anything we want without restriction, Is nobody else having this problem? Is this a new Minecraft thing where it's chat is just like Roblox or something?
