So, i was on my minecraft survival world with my friend and i was digging some dirt and sand and i found some netherrack in the floor,exactly 8 and i got my friend to investigate with me, and it was just the 8 netherrack, nothing else, and it is weird because we didnt have obsidian to make a nether portal. The next minecraft day we were low on food, and we went fishing, after that i went to his island and i put the fish into the furnaces,till that happened i was just sprint-jumping around and i saw netherrack, AGAIN, and it was also 8 pieces, we were shocked, and decided to explore a lot of islands, well we did that, and with no netherrack found, and the weird thing is that it was only on our islands. So, how do you explain that? Sadly we could not take a photo or a video.But please investigate this issue, me and my friend are very confused after this bug happening ,and we really want to know what caused this.
