The disparity between hunger depletion rates in the Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition is so significant that I feel it could be unintended.

I created a video exploring the differences that I've found, but the most notable is that, when sprint-jumping at Normal difficulty, the Java version loses a hunger point every ten seconds, while, in the Bedrock version, a hunger point is lost every two seconds.

Additionally, with the starting saturation values of a new world, players on the Java Edition are able to sprint for ~2 minutes longer, and can jump ~6 minutes longer before they begin to take damage from starvation.
