I noticed how after the Nether Update every time I played on a friend's realm and found a new treasure map, it would always lead to a chest that I already found (see Image 2)
I noticed this bug or glitch after I was holding the old map (see Image 1) and a few new treasure maps in my inventory at the same time from oceans 2,000 blocks away. Then all the other maps loaded incorrectly to match the old map when i tried to view them.
Now I can't find a single newly generated treasure map. I have found that old map before though (see), and have had no problem finding new treasure before (see Image 3) so I have no idea what the issue is or how the entire seed managed to mess up.
I have travelled upwards of 6,000 blocks away to make sure that any new treasure maps found should not lead back to this treasure located on a beach near a spruce forest. I have also destroyed the chest at:
The seed should be generating new chests or at least have map data that corellates with generated chests, but it is not for some reason.
I have cleared my saved game data, uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, tested this bug to see if it occured on more than one device, tested on separate accounts, created a new world with the same seed, and I still have yet to find a new map since this incident.
Steps to recreate bug:
1. Create a Bedrock world with the seed: -940128177
2. Find several treasure maps from wildy varying locations.
3. Be sad because they are all the same
