My friends and I were making our own village from the ground up. During the session with the bug, we had two villagers: a locked toolsmith that we kidnapped from a village over 300 blocks away, and a fisherman that we turned into a farmer (we don't actually know where he came from). Then, we trapped two zombie villagers and cured them. One became a butcher and one became a weapon Smith (we had a grindstone, a smoker, a composter, a smithing table, and two blast furnaces in the village). Satisfied with their professions, I traded with the butcher and the weapon Smith to lock them in their professions. Then, one day, both of them suddenly became armorers, even though I had traded with both of them before they switched, and nothing happened to disturb their work blocks or access to them. But when I destroyed the blast furnaces to try to encourage them to return to their professions, they stayed armorers, even though they hadn't been traded with as armorers. This is very strange and frustrating because the other two villagers ( the toolsmith and farmer) have kept their jobs after being traded with, and we don't want two armorers in our village.

      Expected Result:

The two new villagers would permanently be a butcher and a weapon Smith respectively, and would remain in those professions.

      Actual Result:

The two new villagers both became armorers even after they were traded with, and nothing happened to interfere with their job blocks.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Build a small village with five houses, most of which are from plains village house blueprints.
      2. Furnish the village with a bell meeting place, six beds, a composter, a grindstone, a smoker, a smithing table, and two blast furnaces.

      3. Kidnap a toolsmith villager who has been locked in its profession from another village roughly 300 blocks away.

      4. Bring the toolsmith to the village by boat

      5. Obtain a farmer villager somehow and lock him in his profession (again, we're not sure where he came from. It's possible that he was a survivor from a previous generation of villagers at our village, most of which were killed by monsters).

      6. Capture 2 zombie villagers and cure them. One should become a butcher and one should become a weapon Smith.

      7. Trade with both of these new villagers.

      8. Wait a few days, without disturbing any villager access to job blocks

      9. The two new villagers should suddenly become armorers for no reason, while the first two villagers will remain in their professions. Do not trade with them.

      10. Destroy the blast furnaces. The two new villagers should remain armorers, even though they weren't locked into the armorer profession.
