I was passing from the nether to the overworld and opened a chest while standing in the nether portal. When the overworld loaded in, I was unable to access my inventory, chests, and villager trades.

After exiting and reopening the world, I was able to access my inventory.

What I expected to happen was...:

I would be able to open my inventory.

What actually happened was...:

When I pressed the key to open my inventory, nothing happened. When I tried to trade with villagers, nothing happened.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Stand partially in a nether portal and open a chest while standing in the portal
2. Wait
3. Try to open inventory, trade with villagers, or open chests
