I've tried to play with my friend multiple times and on different updates and it's just never let me connect. I've tried many different alleged fixes but none of them have helped. Her friend was able to connect to her ps4 through cross platform from pc but me playing on ps4 can't ever connect to ps4, even when we both have cross platform off and have the world on private. It doesn't matter who's the host either. I tried hosting and she still couldn't join the game. I need a fix for this because this is ridiculous.

(personal statement) I love Minecraft. I've played over different platforms for almost a decade but things have gone downhill. I couldn't recover my pc account and support never replied back. They made the console versions much more frustrating to navigate menus and it takes too much exploration and thus storage space just to find bamboo. And now no matter what I do I can't do one of the simplest things that I could to in seconds on a last generation console. I don't even know who really owns minecraft now but things need to change because somehow they managed to make the experience (at least for me) so, so much worse.
