There is a bug that when you make a cake in mcpe you don't get the cake, it glitches out and you only get the buckets that were in the recipe and no cake. I'm not sure if this is on other platforms other than mcpe or iOS, but this is what I know. This bug happens every time you try to make a cake in either survival or creative using the crafting table. This isn't much but it's what I know and have experienced.
