      I put this command on repeat: /execute @e [type=player] ~~~ /tp @s ^ ^ ^1 facing @e [type=armor_stand]

I will attach a video. Please note the messages in chat are from different commands but they shouldn't affect the outcome. Also note that I had a command running to spawn an armor stand 50 blocks away from where I was looking and I was drawing the trident back so you can see my crosshair as I was flying through the air. I was on single player and there was only one armor stand in the world.

      To reproduce:
Spawn an armor stand (any entity should work) in front of you but it has to be high. (The attached video will help with where to put the armor stand)

      Run this command on repeat: /execute @e [type=player] ~~~ /tp @s ^ ^ ^1 facing @e [type=armor_stand].

You should see yourself move forwards and then move upwards instead of moving in a straight line to the destination. Your crosshair may also be misaligned with the entity. This issue is especially pronounced when viewing a different entity beside yourself.
