When crafting a cake; the cake disappears because of the bucket. Basically: if you craft a cake, the cake will go to a certain slot of your inventory. So does this bucket. The thing is: The bucket replaces the cake, and the cake disappears. (The cake is a lie!!) Thus not getting you the achievement; you're also not getting your delicious Minecraft cake! This has occurred twice to my friends and personally once to me. This bug does not have super high priority, but it does affect the main achievement system. Sadly, i do not have any files/ pictures to show as an example. Hopefully you'll understand.
