minecraft pocket edition 8.1 crashes àt launch on nvidia shield

What I expected to happen was...:
regular gameplay like 8.0.

What actually happened was...:
well it turns out 8.1 automatically crashes on my shield

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go buy an nvidia shield if you dont already have one
2. download your minecraft pocket edition 8.1
3. launch it
4. find a way to backdate back to 8.0
5. launch that
6. compare
