okay, so first of all, this happened when i got the v.1.14.30 "hotfix" update on my PS4. Otherwise known as the 2.05 update. 

I use the section sign on a lot of my signs, in a lot of my books, and i had used the section sign on my main and best diamond sword. I used the section sign on my signs for colors, in books for italics, bolding, colors, and for obfuscations. I used the section sign on my sword to achieve a rainbow like text for the name. something like "§4S§2w§6o§9r§5d" for example. 

Upon loading loading into my world after that update, i realized that my sword was missing from my inventory for no apparent reason. I immediately suspected that it was the section sign that had caused this, but this really sucks, because for forever now, I've been able to use the section sign everywhere without issue. It's a very cool feature, and now I can't use it. Anytime i try to use it on an anvil, on a sign, or in a book, the text becomes invisible and unreadable. This means that now I can't color text on signs, or have any kind of text formatting in books or on the names of my items. Effectively reclassifying all of the stuff that does still exist that has been formatted with section sign as super valuable and irreplaceable. 

Pleeeeeeeeease fix the section sign Mojang. I beg of you. This bug deleted a sword that i have had for a very long time, that was all sorts of enchanted. It'll take days to replace it. And I really want to be able to format text in books and signs again. Please.

and please increase the render distance for beacon light beams. i have to be almost right next to a beacon to see the beam. Legacy Edition's beacon lights could be seen from afar, and that's how it should be. it's a beacon after all?
