As the Nintendo Switch is my primary method of playing Minecraft, the performance is lacking compared to other devices. Upon starting up the game, it takes over 3 minutes on a black screen before displaying the Mojang logo with the loading bar and it takes another minute or two for the main menu to load, with mobile devices taking much less time to load the game dispite having the same power as the Nintendo Switch. It also now crashes more often either randomly through gameplay or saving and exiting a realm or world.
