So I have a PvP world  with an addon that uses some of the newly added addon components, such as making new food items. I have thirteen new items, each edible to the player (using minecraft:food as a component), meant to give special effects. If this matters, they're edible at any time (like a golden apple) and have a 100% chance to give the effects on the "minecraft:item".

These are also completely new items, not replacing any of the existing items in vanilla minecraft.

They seem to work for me, the host of the server playing on windows 10, but not for any of my friends on other devices, who used an xbox one, a phone and the windows 10 edition.

I would eat it as normal, completely functional for me, but when they clicked their use button, it would do nothing on their screen. On my screen, it would appear that the player was holding the item up to his mouth, but not eating it. It would be stuck there until he switched to another item in his hotbar.

the enchanting glint (minecraft:foil) also did not show up for other players as it did for me.

I tried all these things on another world too, but go the same results

everything else in the pack is working, including loot tables, custom crafting recipes, entities and anything else. Please fix this.

edit- I can also confirm that I was using experimental gameplay, which is required for any of the new modding api to work
