When I was dying some sheep with bone meal in creative mode, for some reason, it just disappeared from my hand and inventory. Although, when I exited and logged back in, it came back.

What I expected to happen was that the bone meal would never run out.

What actually happened was that after using it a bit it ran out and disappeared from my inventory.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Spawn lots of sheep using spawn eggs.
2. Dye all the coloured sheep white using bone meal.
3. After using it for a while, the bone meal should disappear from your hand.
