EDIT: Too hasty, and it seems like it is working as intended. Please delete this issue or close it.

On my first day of playing a survival world I created, I built a Nether Portal at 72, 60, -18, which corresponds to 14, 46, 1 in the Nether. Today, I decided to search for a village, which I eventually found. I built a Nether Portal at -574, 72, -991, but when I entered it, the game placed me at the portal generated at 14, 46, 1, which was generated back when I built my first Nether Portal. Two portals hundreds of blocks away should not be linked up like this.

      What I expected to happen:
I would expect a Nether Portal built at -574, 72, -991 in the Overworld to generate a portal in the Nether at approximately -71, 72, -129, and it should not be linked to the prior Nether Portal I built.

      What actually happened:
When I entered the portal, the game put me at the Nether Portal generated at 14, 46, 1 in the Nether, which corresponds to a Nether Portal hundreds of blocks away from the Nether Portal I had originally entered.

How to reproduce (may not be 100% guaranteed, as it only happened once):
      1) Build a Nether Portal in the world, maybe around X: 0, Z: 0.
      2) Enter it into the Nether to generate a portal and exit the Nether.
      3) Travel hundreds of blocks in any given direction, though I did travel toward negative X and negative Z.
      4) Build another Nether Portal and enter it. If successfully reproduced, you should be at the Nether Portal generated prior, due to this bug, and when you exit the portal, you should be at the first portal built if the bug was successfully reproduced.
