This issue has been a thing for a long time now. Every over world and nether mobs spawn at a low spawn rate that makes them basically non existent.
Skeletons, creepers, zombies, zombie pigman, spiders, wither skeletons and slime all have a difficult time spawning in the overworld or nether. I'm outside about 90% of the time I play minecraft. So you would expect A lot of mobs to spawn in the vacant area that ure in. But instead I can look out and only find 0-2 mobs per night. Unlike in java you can do the same and constantly be attacked by mobs and find 10 -15 mobs per night. Its seems java has no problem with mob spawns except bedrock.
I love playing in easy mode and up bc I like a challenge while building. But I hate peaceful bc it seems way to serene.
From update aquatic on I noticed land mobs are still non existent but Phantoms, drowned, dolphins and every fish type have no problem spawning at all. Kinda makes u think bedrock shiuld have a spawn rate slider to indicate how many spawn of what mob.
Mob spawners spawn entities just fine.
Sorry if this is duplicate of another post. I have a hard time finding posts on here.
Also this affects win10 edition too.
