Redstone signal is not being transmitted from a block, repeater, or piston in the same way it was in the previous XBOX version and the Java version

I am not a redstone expert by any means, so I'm not exactly sure what has changed, but my best guess is redstone power is not being passed down to the block underneath of a piston. I seem to recall some redstone contraptions long ago that powered 2 Pistons with just one torch at the top.

In any case, I have a world from the previous Xbox version that I'm trying to import into the Xbox live version and the behavior doesn't match. I also built the same Contraption many times on the PC version, as far back as 10 years or so.

In the screenshots below, the switch on the wall is designed to activate sticky pistons, to move bookshelves in and out of the wall, to control crafting levels. As you can see, the top row of Pistons is working fine but the bottom row of Pistons are not being activated.

Both rows of Pistons  used to  work fine  in the older Xbox One Edition  as well as the Java Edition  on PC .

I'm hoping the third screenshot of the Redstone side of things will be enough for you to be able to duplicate this issue.
