When you name mobs/entities using name tags in the game it works fine. When you exit out of the game and come back in 2 seconds or 2 days (it doesn’t matter) all of the names are gone. I went through the process of naming 20-30 villagers for a project I am doing. It took me 30-45 minutes. I exited out of the game to check something and came back in to find all of the villagers but 3 had lost their names. I tested it out on animals too. The same thing happened except none of them kept the names. When the new update came out with a bunch of bug fixes, I tried it again. It still didn’t work.
