Description
Sometimes, when playing on a local world and on one console (in this case Xbox One), the player who joins the world can lose progress after saving and quitting the world.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a world (player 1)
- Let a second player join the world on the console (split screen play)
- Play for a while
- Player 1 saves and quits the game
- Close Minecraft and restart it.
- Re-do steps 1 and 2 and sometimes player 2 has lost progress
Notes
- This is most likely caused due to a crash, even if it occures after saving and quiting. I just had a game crash when in the title screen and my girlfriend lost about 1,5 hours of progress.
The game crashes a lot, and until the crashes and this bug is fixed it's impossible to play with multiple players locally. Losing progress is really demoralizing.
