The overridden item then becomes lost. I've searched and found similar issues but they seem to be for PC so I will leave it for the Mods to decide if it's an actual duplicated issue, despite being on different platforms. This issue is difficult to duplicate. I would also have to duplicate it to show my initial inventory and then a stackable item being duplicated taking over one of my other items, despite having open slots. I also can't confirm the influence of the hotbar in this issue. As an example, I had my sword in my hotbar and I was harvesting carrots, in which case I had (4). This bug happened and my sword in my hotbar was replaced with (4) carrots. Going back into my inventory to switch out the items, my sword had disappeared and I had another slot taken up by (4) carrots. I am also in survival mode, if that makes a difference.
