The Great View from up here achievement is very buggy. If you join a friend in multiplayer, and meet the requirements, you do not get progress at all. If you are hosting the world, you do get progress, but once you've levitated about 70 blocks or so, you only get awarded for less than 10% of the required 50 meters. Regarding the first issue, this is known to be the case for all devices with achievements (Apple TV, Windows 10, windows phone 10, Android, Ios, Kindle Fire (and probably also GEAR VR but haven't played that version myself) ). The second issue appears to be only the case for Windows 10, but might also be true for other devices. I'm more concerned with the first bug as that prevents you from unlocking the achievement altogether, whereas in the second bug I mentioned regarding this achievement, you can still at least get progress.
