My spawn point from a bed a slept in was located above lava and after deleting it and dying from falling, I would spawn above the lava and die without being able to escape

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought there would be an option to resplendent at the set spawn from the beginning, I guess I am the only one stupid enough to do this

*What actually happened
I click "respawn" and fall 1block into lava and burn to death in about 2sec.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Built a platform above lava
2. Placed bed on it and slept in it
3. Deconstruct bed and platform and die from other causes= repeated death and no chance of continuing in the world
