For some reason, I would expect the previous bug report regarding the Bogged's melee to be slow in addressing the effects it inflicts since both Strays and Bogged are identical in coding properties and behaviors. When I tested the bogged to see if it would inflict a presumed effect, it did not do so and hit like a normal skeleton.
I'm unsure if it is intentional, but I'm pretty sure that makes the Bogged inconsistent with its variants regarding effect infliction, so I'm reporting it as an issue.
Steps To Reproduce:
Underwater Test:
- Spawn a bogged underwater
- Set your gamemode to survival
- Let the Bogged attack you with its melee
- You should be inflicted with poison for a certain time, similar to the behaviors of Strays and Wither Skeletons when inflicting damage on you.
Replace Item Test:
- Spawn a bogged
- Through either a command block or through chat console, use theĀ replaceitem entity @e[type=bogged] slot.weapon.mainhand 1 air 1
- Set your gamemode to survival
- Let the Bogged attack you with its melee
- You should be inflicted with poison for a certain time, similar to the behaviors of Strays and Wither Skeletons when inflicting damage on you.
