I have used my Nintendo switch to play for both realms and standard worlds. I keep running into intermittent nether portal issues where:

      1) the portal does not recognize my location within the portal, this means I am unable to use portals to go from the nether to the overworld or vice versa. I am sure that this is specific for the Nintendo switch because I was playing on realms with another player on their PC who was able to use the portal that I was unable to use. A key detail here is that I have been in the overworld for about 30 mins farming and then tried to go back through the portal and it would not register my entrance.

1.5) this affected me in the nether as well, I was using a nether portal highway of 2 portals went in one and after traveling to the other the portal would not recognize my presence besides the change in music, I then went back to the portal I came from and was still unable to get the portal to recognize my presence. I eventually was able to get back to the overworld by first going into the portal, logging out, and logging back in directly into the overworld at the other side of the portal.

      2) I would get incomplete loading in the portal. I would load myself into a portal, load in the other world, run for a bit, then get teleported back to the portal not having done anything before the teleport.
