End Gateways teleport me to the correct coordinates, however the world doesn't seem to load correctly. As far as I can tell, through trial and error, after throwing an ender pearl into a gateway the game attempts to load the world in its "default" unmodified state, which doesn't include anything built by me or anything generated by the game by playing it (such as the end's obsidian platform or the end island generated from using the end gateway). Since no generated platforms load, I fall straight to the void and die.
I'm running Dedicated Server 1.20.81 on Ubuntu 20.02.6 in a server configuration (command line only-- no GUI). There was no option to specify this when creating the bug report.
As far as I can tell, the client OS doesn't matter (tested on Windows 10/11, and Android 13/14).
Also, doesn't happen EVERY time. Sometimes it works fine, but more often than not I end up in the void. It seems to happen more often if the destination of the gateway hasn't been visited since loading the game (i.e. if I load the game at a remote end island and use a gateway to teleport back, more often than not I end up in the void. But if I load the game in the center island, walk to the remote island via bridges I've built and THEN use the gateway to return, it WORKS more often than not.)
If I copy my world from the server to my PC and load it directly, there are no issues. This only happens if I load the world through the dedicated server.
Here's a demonstration of my issue:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsbdFRDVBBY
It shows me using a gateway on the central island to go to a remote island only for the destination island to be missing which results in me falling to the void. I then walk all the way to the gateway's destination to show what it SHOULD look like. (note how the islands look while dying in the void both times-- the central island and the pathways I built are missing when I teleport there via the gateway)
Apologies if this bug is already here. I did search through many many many End Gateway-related bugs but didn't find anything similar to my issue (did find a few similar ones in old Java versions, but none for Bedrock)
