Although claim of the Super Mario Mash-up Pack being platform restricted (which would have been found in “Can my friends on Xbox play the Super Mario Mash-Up?” in former article “Nintendo Switch Technical Support FAQ”) is removed in Minecraft Help, the removal of it being platform restricted in Minecraft Help currently do not reflect that the platform restriction was removed from the mash-up pack in the game, which introduced inconsistency between Minecraft Help and the game.
Steps to reproduce:
- Have Minecraft open on a device with Super Mario Mash-up Pack, specifically Nintendo Switch
- Go to Dressing Room
- Choose Classic Skins
- Select skins from Super Mario Mash-up Pack
- Exit Dressing Room and return to menu
- Try joining cross-platform multiplayer with skins from Super Mario Mash-up Pack.
Expected Result: You could just simply join cross-platform multiplayer with skins from Super Mario Mash-up Pack and switch skins to ones from Super Mario Mash-up Pack in-game, which would be consistent to the removal of the article in Minecraft Help.
Actual Result: You can't join in due to platform restriction.
Solution: Should the developers and the licensee have the license of the Super Mario Mash-up Pack updated, the mash-up pack should at least be able to be used in cross-platform multiplayer, so to have platform restriction removed, and so it would be consistent to the timing of the removal of mention in Minecraft Help.
