As I load any minecraft world on my computer (HP omen 17) the first 4 cores of the CPU max out causing frame drops and lag, making the game basically unplayable. I've been having this issue for months, also on other versions, and the lag would occasionally only appear once I had progressed a little bit through the world. The issue doesn't affect servers, the main menu, but does affect existing worlds, and can also affect new worlds. Lag only occurs while playing minecraft, and this computer can handle games requiring much more performance with ease, which is why I am writing this bug report here, and not somewhere else .
The linked video displays the effects of this lag, and the the system components usage in the top right corner of the screen. It is slightly low resolution but legible I believe. The attached screenshots display the usage on the main menu, the task manager usage, and my system info with personal information blurred.

Here I have also provided the world I recorded the lag in case it is useful

Thanks for helping out
I have been able to solve the problem: the affinity of Minecraft was set to only these 4 cores, causing it to overwhelm them. Why this happened? I don't know. Anyway, my problem seems to have been fixed, but I do wonder how the affinity of Minecraft ended up like that because I don't remember setting it to that..
