When I'm fishing, my fishing rod will bring the fish to me like it's supposed to. However, the XP that comes with it will bounce off of me and fall into the water. When I go after it, I can collect the XP like normal. I've had this problem in multiple different worlds. It's really irritating because I often fish from a platform above the water and I have to jump down to collect the XP or it despawns. Sometimes the XP from fishing won't bounce off and it will collect as it should. The problem happens about half the time.
