I am playing on Minecraft Bedrock version 1.20.50 on a Realms world using a mouse and keyboard and discovered that if you draw back a bow and simultaneously fire the bow and swap to a different hotbar slot, that slot you swapped to will have the item replaced with the bow. So if you fire the bow and hit "1" on the keyboard at the same time, the item in your 1 slot will be replaced with the exact same bow that you were firing.
