I had a couple of ocelots tamed in creative mode. I didn't play for a few days. When I came back, all my cats had ocelot skins. They still act like cats (they follow me and I can feed them).

When I tame a new ocelot, it has the cat skin, but my old cats still have the ocelot skin.
