I am seeing a lot of videos on YouTube showing this exact same issue with Android and possibly even IOS performance ever since 1.20.30 released, that the game experiences random freezes. This can vary in intensity depending on your device, however even my high end device experiences these seemingly random lag spikes. This never happened prior to 1.20.30, so it must be a GPU utilisation bug that Mojang let slip through beta testing.

I have a Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro running Android 12. My specs are:

      Adreno 650 GPU

      8GB RAM + 3GB extendable RAM

      Snapdragon 865 chipset

      256GB internal storage

This is a flagship model from late October 2020, and can play any AAA title with no performance issues whatsoever. So this new version of Minecraft Bedrock is causing GPU utilisation to max out for no reason. This bug does not affect Windows PCs. I saw that I still had over 3GB of free RAM while running the game on my Android device, so it must be a GPU utilisation bug, or something else which I'm not aware of since the 1.20.30 update.

Please note that when I say "freeze", I mean the game freezes for about 500ms and continues playing. So I mean "lag spike".
