As of the latest update, the game will have frequent lag spikes of about 1 second; the interval of time between each lag spike can vary between 10 seconds and one minute, with them being more frequent if the player moves around rather than staying in the same area.

The issue was not present in the game before the latest update.

It is recommended to create a normal "infinite" world (not flat or "old") to properly reproduce the issue.

What has been tried so far with no success:

      • Restarting the device
      • Deleting the game's cache data
      • Reinstalling the game
      • Disabling new 1.20.30 features, such as Recipe Unlocking, New "You Died" Screen and more
      • Disabling Achievements and Multiplayer in the event that the cause was internet connection related
      • Disabling various video related settings such as Fancy Graphics
      • Enabling "Show Autosave Icon" to check if the lag spikes were caused by autosaves, with a negative result

This issue was reproduced on multiple devices, ranging from 2 to 4 GBs of RAM, and possessing up to a SnapDragon processor, all with the same result.

Note: Despite the lag spikes, the game runs smoothly with no lag whatsoever, which makes the issue even stranger.
