I encountered a bug when attempting to use the Elytra boost jump, and I started bouncing off the ground instead of landing if I was holding the jump button.

To recreate it:
Step 1: Go onto any world, creative or survival.
Step 2: Equip an Elytra.
Step 3: Start running.
Step 4: Jump.
Step 5: Press jump again to trigger the Elytra right as you touch the ground.
Step 6: You should have been boosted into the air, if you haven't, repeat the other steps.
Step 7: now that you've been boosted into the air, hold the jump button and touch the ground.

You have now started bouncing off the ground when you touch it. (So long as you hold the jump button)

Bonus step 8: Look up at a 45° angle as you touch the ground to fling yourself across the area extremely fast and take fall damage by LITERALLY STUBBING YOUR TOE ON THE AIR. (Mojang please fix)
