This issue is related to MCPE-123321
Basically the mob takes damage before it hits the ground. I made a redstone contraption that basically acts like a trampoline. Then I dropped a mob from a high height. Apparently the slime reduces the mob's fall damage but does not block it entirely.
To Reproduce:
Make a trampoline contraption on the ground
Make a tower
Spawn the mob on the tower
Somehow move the mob off the tower and make the zombie fall
(Mob must fall on slime trampoline (Must fall on the slime part))
What Is Expected: Mob bounces on the trampoline and takes no damage (May take damage if walks off the trampoline while bouncing)
What Happens: The zombieĀ takes damage every time it lands on the slime part of the trampoline (may instantly die if 170-300 blocks high)
