The bug
Despite the four horizontal side faces of sculk shriekers being flush with the sides of blocks, a solid full block placed next to a sculk shrieker will not cull that block face, causing it to be rendered for no reason. This is not the case in Java Edition, resulting in a parity issue.
How to reproduce
- Place a sculk shrieker
- Place a solid block next to it
- Enter Spectator mode
- Clip into the solid block
Expected results
You wouldn't be able to see the bottom half of the sculk shrieker's side from within the block.
Actual results
You can.
