Villagers aren't able to move throughout the village, because village buildings generate too wide platforms around them. That creates cascade-like terrain that paths generate on and huge steps between the levels. Villagers and other village related mobs whose preferred path block is grass path aren't then able to move around and often get stuck on rooftops or under the overhangs created by platforms.

The platforms themselves are sometimes so wide that they even make flat accessible terrain unwalkable through, as show on the pictures below.

For comparison, on MC: Java the house platforms are hardly even noticeable on flat terrain, since they generate only underneath the houses and do not elevate also the terrain around them.

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Locate a village
      • Find a house at least 3 blocks higher than other part of the village, it will generate a wide platform elevating the path from the rest of it.

      Expected behaviour:

      • Villages can be moved through by following the street, with house platforms not elevating the path.

      Actual behaviour:

      • House platforms elevate the path, making it untraversable.
