Hello, there are some items in Bedrock Edition that have different Brazilian Portugeuse translation than Java Edition, when the Java Edition name is better. Here are some of them:
Item | Current name | Java Translation | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Mud (and variants) | Lama | Barro | The words are synomynys, but it's good to have consistence between editions. |
Muddy Mangrove Roots | Raízes de Mangue Lamacentas | Raízes barrentas de mangue | To match mud's change to "barro", change the "muddy" translation to "barrentas". |
Swift Sneak enchantment | Agachar Veloz | Passos furtivos | An adaption, current one means "sneak fast", Java one means "sneaky steps". |
Walls (all variants) | Parede de <variant> | Muro de <variant> | "Parede" is used to determine a big wall, while "muro" is a small wall. |
Deepslate (and variants) | Ardosiabissal | Ardósia | "Ardósia" is the word for "slate", and it's used on Java because it's smaller and most known than a portmanteau. |
<color> Stained Glass | Vidro Tingido de <color> | Vidro <color> | The stained word isn't necessary in Portuguese, so it can be just omitted. |
Glass Pane (and 16 colors variants) | Painel de Vidro | Vidraça | "Vidraça" is a most known word for "Painel de Vidro". |
Allay | Assistente | Allay | Like Vex, there isn't a term for it in Portuguese, so it keeps the same in Java Edition translation. |
Cut Sandstone, Cut Red Sanstone, Cut Copper (and stair/slab variant) | Arenito Cortado, Arenito Vermelho Cortado, Cobre Cortado | Arenito lapidado, Arenito vermelho lapidado, cobre lapidado | In this context, "lapidado" is a better word for "cut", as it means a cut in a stone. |
End Rod | Haste de Extremidade | Lâmpada do End | In the current translation, "End" word is translated (which isn't allowed by Mojang's glossary) |
Dried Kelp (item and block) | Alga Desidratada/Bloco de Alga Desidratada | Algas secas/Bloco de algas secas | Current translation means "dehydrated" instead of "dried". |

Carpet (and all 16 colors variants) | Carpete | Tapete | The "carpet" word is an adaption of the English word. "Tapete" is most proper. |
Mangrove Fence Gate | Portão de Cerca de Mangue | Portão de mangue | The term "fence gate" can be simplified to "gate" without losing its meaning. Other wood types use only "gate". |
Silk Touch | Toque de Seda | Toque suave | Adaptation used in Java that means "Smooth Touch" instead of "Silk Touch". |
Deepslate ores | Ardosiabissal de Minério de <ore> | Minério de <ore> de ardósia | Current translation has a wrong word order, and change from "ardosiabissal" to "ardósia" to match change. |

All purple blocks (except Candle) | Lilás | Roxo | The word "roxo" is most used currently than "lilás". |
