Minecraft 1.19 Java edition mechanics allow to build reliable instant hopper minecart unloaders, see, for example, ilmango's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN4L-MAbjWA

This is super helpful for large-scale farms and item sorters.

However, this design doesn't work in Bedrock edition. I'm not sure about the reason, comments suggest that mud and soul sand blocks don't have the same hitbox as in Java.

The only solution I found was this one which uses a campfire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTcIMPmAxIA. But the items often land on the campfire itself instead of going to the water stream. This unrealiability makes it impossible to use in some item sorter designs, for example an analog of this water-stream based multi-item sorter https://www.reddit.com/r/technicalminecraft/comments/rtud6m/super_compact_multi_item_sorter_design_no_slot/

I understand that Java and Bedrock editions are different and different designs may be required. But I thought they should have feature parity, and instant minecart unloading is a very useful feature that should be available in Bedrock, not only in Java edition.
