Update on Thursday 6th October showed 0kb so my son stopped the update and installed and then installed Minecraft. He then noticed two Minecraft icons on his home screen. 

One has now gone but when he now logs into Minecraft some of his old worlds won't load. 

He can create new worlds and only some of his old worlds will load. His old worlds have the image missing and it doesn't say if it is creative or survival. 

He cant use the edit (pen image) to the right of his worlds. And when he tries to load an old world it kicks him out to the home screen.

We have spoken to Shaun from Minecraft help and he says this is a known problem and to report the bug. 

If there is anything you can do to help we would really appreciate it as my son has created some amazing worlds and he will be devastated if he looses them! Thank you
